well today i had my first problem with the scorpio, came out this morning unlocked car went to open driver door and handle snapped, so climbed in through passenger door pulled the handle on inside of driver door and nothing, so driver door wouldnt open, luckily i could get enough of the doorcard off to reach inside and remove the rod that goes to handle and open door followed by a trip to breakers £10 later and new handle fitted all is well again mainly due to the excellent guides on here by the way if anyone is interested rjk in erith have a couple of scorpios they are breaking and sorry for rambling on

my mate had the same happen on his vauxhall and he had to destroy the doorcard so well happy i didnt have to do that
