hi there

does anyone have an up to date price for the rear shocker for the estate?

i've found someone else that can supply them (not ashley banks!). just need
to
check the price.

the supplier has quote #208gbp inc VAT (exec postage). how does that compare
to ford/fordpartsuk.com?

A mate of mine bought a pair from FMD a few months back & it cost just over £400 for the pair ???

no, it's £208 each. so not too good a price then. :(

still, we know that you can get them from somewhere else if ford run out. ;)

The OE ford ones are made by BOGE.

There is a fairly sizable supply of second hand ones stashed in a secret location somewhere in rural Scotland ;)

Checked with my local FMD & the shocks are actually £249 inc VAT each.....so £500 the pair :o

My mate managed to get them for just over £400 with a Ford discount ticket :)

I've seen a few good estates scrapped for just that reason, £500 for two shocks is shocking!! ;D

The estate ones are self-levelling. ;)
