hi all my boot open warning light on my dash stays on even though the boot is shut, how can i turn it off, is it possible to bypass it by connecting any of the wires to fool it into thinking its shut

Yes it is, but it might be just as easy to check/replace the switch??

Is the switch easy to access and replace ?

I've never been able to locate it.

its on the boot lock, pop the trim off and you'll see it, doubles up as the luggage compartment light switch too
