Title: Manual to Auto

Not a conversion as such.

Are there any issues with fitting an engine from a 2.3 manual into a 2.3 auto??

Just a straight engine swap, retaining the autobox.

I'm assuming and hoping the engines are identical and that the original wiring and autobox will bolt straight on :)

Who knows?? ;)

hi m8

yep the 2 engines are the same, you'll just need to unbolt the flywheel off the manual and fit the torque converted to it, not sure if the pins are the same lenght so you'll need to check that

Think the spiggot bearing on the input shaft might be different

Just for info, the torque convertor bolted onto the same place the flywheel came off, car up and running now no problems ;)
