Hi all,

I just changed my spark plugs. The old ones electrical contacts all looked fine BUT one of them looks like http://www.exhortations.co.uk/images/Oily%20plug.jpg.

I'm assuming that the oil has come from outside the combustion chamber and run down a little when I took the plug out. I'm a bit puzzled about where it could have come from - any ideas?

it's a two piece affair. one that goes around the outside edge of the rocker cover and one that's 4 circles joined together for the plugs.

Aaah, that makes sense.

Would it be easy to replace if it got worse?

hi mike

easy enough. just add a bit of sealant to the sparkplug gasket as it can move a bit as you torque it down.

intructions are on the main site.
