Hi Guys
Can anyone tell me how to obtain the software or the name of software for checking out the buggy please ,and the type of lead required to connect to laptop I have a 12v scorpio 2.9 on the n plate

Hello and welcome :)

there are a few different types you can use, however members of this site after a lot of thought and investigation have plumped for this one from the States made by Alex Peper. the software can be downloaded free but you'll need his lead.

www.obd-2.com

The trican version will allow you to read ABS codes.

(this lead wont work with the diesel or the 12v so you need a star reader)

Thats great Highlander many thanks can i get the star reader from same guy I assume this is a lead.Sorry dont know much about theses things my garage has asked me to get for them.

star readers are available on EBay for a few quid I think
