Title: Heater control panel Post by lesterlad on Oct 11th, 2008, 5:35pm I noticed last night that I have some light showing along the top of the heater control panel, however I am assuming the bulb(s) have come adrift from the windscreen / rear window switches which at this time are unlit. Can someone please advise me on how to remove the panel so I can gain access to replace the bulb(s) in the respective position. I have tried the "credit card" trick to no avail but I'm unsure where the tabs are. The panel is standard Aircon NOT c/c How many tabs and where ? Do the 3 knobs have be pulled off first ? Thankyou. lesterlad (aka Rodders) |

Title: Re: Heater control panel Post by pinto on Oct 12th, 2008, 7:09am theres a special plastic pannel fitted that prevents the backlights on the A/C from 'leaking' around the top of the pannel - i know because after changing my bulbs, i was left with it, thinking "where does this bit go ???" lol Found out when it got dark ::) Yours may have slipped or be could be missing altogether - personally, im too lazy to pull all the dash out again to put it back :) |
