Has anyone replaced the front wheel bearings on their Ultima, I know that they are an interference fit in the hub and was wondering whether it can be done without the aid of a hydraulic press and pullers. :)

The only thing I would say is that they are a bit of a devil to get out. I wouldn't recommend you trying with just pullers. I had access to a hydraulic press and I'm not sure we would have succeeded without it. If memory serves me we were at 10 tons of pressure before they finally gave and started coming out.

I did do it on my 24v when I had it but I would not have done it a second time.
