Apologies in advance if this is a dumb question, but is it possible to remove a 7000 series stereo without first removing the walnut surround?

I'm sure you just pop the extractor keys, move the keys outwards in opposing directions and pull. :)

Buy em cheap in parts shop,a pair of twin forked rods that fit in the two litle holes in the front of the set.
