Title: Sunroof Deflector
Post by lesterlad on Dec 20th, 2008, 1:20pm
I have just acquired a sunroof wind deflector for my estate, I need to know if the the factory fitted one (the flap that pops up when sunroof is opened) has to be removed.
I have offered the deflector up to the opening but it would seem to me that the fixing screws of it would foul the built in flap arms.

The one I have on mine is fitted with two strips of stainless steel and doesn't interfere with the flappy thing opening.

Is it a Granada/Scorpio one you have LL?

Came off a Scorpio estate apparently, I have the two s/steel strips with the pre-drilled holes with it as well.

I'll take the plunge and have a go at it soon as my arm has repaired itself.
