Title: Re: rear springs cosworth Post by Highlander on Dec 21st, 2008, 3:53pm worn springs I think :) You can get lowered springs, I assume for both front and rear but I think the majority of the time low ride height will be broken springs |

Title: Re: rear springs cosworth Post by Jonnycab on Dec 21st, 2008, 4:25pm Estate rear springs are different to saloon rear springs & saloons with factory fitted tow bars have heavy duty springs fitted :) Regarding the ride height being different on so many Scorpios with the same spec.....It could be worn/weakened springs, worn top mount.....or my personal theory is that not all springs (although they may measure the same) have exactly the same tolerance. They may all come within a certain tolerance range to pass through quality control, but some may be slightly weaker than others & therefore make the vehicle sit a little lower, either straight away or over a period of time :)........ .......& before anyone asks...no, I haven't been drinking..........not yet anyway ;D |
