Title: LSD Post by 5stud on Jan 17th, 2009, 12:50am hi.do 4stud 24v scorpios have LSDs?? |

Title: Re: LSD Post by Snoopy on Jan 17th, 2009, 7:53am Although there was some mention in the original literature about the Ford Scorpio having a LSD as an option. In ALL the time that we have had dealings with them we have never found a car that had a LSD fitted. It seems that Ford did not deem them a necessary option after fitting traction control to the higher spec cars which in some respects tries to imitate the actions of a LSD . So in short the answer is an emphatic "NO" |

Title: Re: LSD Post by gase on Jan 18th, 2009, 9:50pm Do you know if you can still buy one for a scorpio or not.. do for still stock them or does another company make one ???? |

Title: Re: LSD Post by Snoopy on Jan 19th, 2009, 8:13am If you want a LSD for the Scorpio then look to the sierra or earlier Granada as the axle from them might fit. Or ring your local FMD. |

Title: Re: LSD Post by Scorpio_Mike on Jan 20th, 2009, 11:35am I think the flanges just pull out ??? Might need a couple of tyre levers or crowbars to 'help' them. |
||
Title: Re: LSD Post by martin_rowe on Jan 20th, 2009, 1:25pm yes, from memory flanges are spring clipped inside, should pull out, but will be tight. |

Title: Re: LSD Post by Highlander on Jan 29th, 2009, 8:34pm Dont pull them out, there are circlips holding them on the inside, remove the backplate and the circlips can be removed |
