Will the Ford 6006E Radio/ 6 CD changer/player all-in-one unit fit into the Scorpio dashboard, and will the steering column controls operate it OK?

If not, will the RDS 6000 CD/radio be a straight forward fit instead?

Does the 6006E Radio/ 6 CD changer/player fit ?

hi there

the 6000 is anyway. can't remember about the 6006e, but i think it's a double din, where as the scorpio is a 1.8 din.

Correct, the 6000 is a straight slot-in, and you still get to keep the column controls (which is what I wanted).
I could have gone the "after-market" route, but I'd like to keep her original :)

The 6006E is selling for crazy money on Fleabay :o
