Post by k1ng_james on Jan 31st, 2009, 5:20pm
I tried searching for some for my 1996 Bug eye and cant find anything. Infact i cant find anything expect for a mesh grill on ebay. Does anyone know if you can actually buy moddifaction parts for the bug eye or anywhere you can get them from?

Thanks James

www.buypartsby.co.uk

they list a 30mm lowering spring kit for a 95-98 Scorpio for a very resonable £ 66.57 + VAT :)

Good people to deal with too.

What other parts are you looking to modify ?  with a little ingenuity, you can adapt various parts to fit as the scorp shared components with various other ford models :) - for instance, brake upgrade is possible using the Focus ST170 300mm disks and callipers, you can polybush your suspension using a mix of granada Mk3 and mondeo bushing.... the list goes on :)

pinto, what bits are needed to poly bush? thats one thing i really wanted to do

granada side skirts fit with a bit of modding, also look at the jag s type, thats pretty much a mondeo under neith the body shell, im looking at modding part of the bumpers with stype ones

i got my springs off ebay but you could try google H&R??

Either should be ok, but i'd probably go for the v6 springs due to the weight of the TD lump - most diesels weigh a ton !
