Hi guys

Question for you - any reason why this key fob couldn't be programmed to work with Scorpio?

Just wondering what you think, anyone tried it?

Don't waste your money, I don't think an alternative has been found yet.

I have a similar looking transit fob kicking around that can't be made to work.
Needs to be the correct frequency & have a rolling code.

Strange that no other remote fob is supposed to work in place of the original type fob.

Can someone explain why my "Toad" two button works with my Scorp along with the original ?

I don’t know is the answer, do you have a toad alarm system fitted? Seems you may be able to have both types of remote working if you do:

Quote:
The Toad 850T not only works in harmony with your original equipment remote control (this could be a remote control central locking system, or basic alarm) but it's Thatcham approved too! Simply by adding the 850T, your existing car security (subject to vehicle) is instantly upgraded to Thatcham 2-1 status! It comes with a 120db
battery back-up siren and interior ultrasonic sensors too!

Tompion, I have none of options highlighted in red.
As far as I know the alarm is factory fitted.

Might be an idea if someone on the site can "borrow" a Toad remote fob and see if it will programme and work on their scorp as a test
