Title: Re: air con repair cost? Post by Highlander on Apr 19th, 2009, 7:57pm with new parts?? are they damaged? I'm pretty sure a new condenser was £150 a couple of years back. Kwik fit are doing aircon recharge for £45 so I'd reckon you're looking at £300 :-/ |

Title: Re: air con repair cost? Post by sierra20 on Apr 20th, 2009, 7:02pm thanks for the advice, i would change it my self, but the system needs to be drained first, the will need to be put on a vacume after and recahrged, so i may as well get the garage to do it. also is it best to change the receiver dryer as well whhile they are at it? |

Yes but that'll be done (or should be done) as part of the aircon recharge anyway so dont let them charge a lot for fitting it. |
