I need some new rear brake pads for my 1997 Scorp 2.3 Ultima Estate.

When looking for them I have come across the different Mk's of Scorp.... is there anywhere that shows which MK is which?

Also - while I'm at it - anyone know which type of pads I need? just want the cheapest i can get really

it's MKIII

earlier models were known as Granadas in the UK but they were called Scorpio on the continent.
So basically MKI was made in the mid 80's, MKII in the early 90's and MKIII after Dec. 94.

Not according to my sources;
MKI 1985-1992
MKII 1992-1994
MKIII 1994-1998

this refers to the build dates of the granada, bar the last one (which is our car).

You're getting a bit mixed up Woj ;)

Our car is the Scorpio ( 95-98 ) (Scorpio II in Europe).

The Granada 85-94 (UK)was known in Europe as the Scorpio I

Depending on who you speak to the Granada -94 has MK1 MK2 MK3 and/or MK4 but the Scorpio has no MK's

Freerein where are you looking for the pads?

I'm not getting mixed up Stuart ;)

I'm also a member on a polish Ford Scorpio Forum which is basically supported by FMD and I'm telling you there were 3 MKs in Europe. And our is the MKIII :)

Its wrong.

Thats the ONLY place I've ever seen a Scorpio referred to as a MK3

R u telling me that polish FMD and polish scorpio forum is wrong too? :)

there were 3 MKs on the continent as no one has ever heard about the Granada there...
they were all called Scorpio there.

hi there

to stop any more confussion.......

the uk granada mk3 (scorpio mk1 in europe) came in
pre and post facelift.

the scorpio was only just that, SCORPIO. in europe it was it called SCORPIO MK2.

there was never a mk3 version of any scorpio.
