Hi lads

Has anyone got the info ready on how to put the 2.0 manifold on the 2.3 to stop the dreaded leak..Highlander says he thinks jonnycab did it to his???

Thanks in advance got a 2.0 litre manifold coming soon and mines leaking on the 2.3..

Just cant seem to lose interest in this car I cant let her go even tho a st220 s on its way chipped to 242BHP..

IM keeping tjis car till she blows up lol...

Dont think it was Jonnycab, he fixed his with blue tack or something, it was someone though, who was it?

it's a pretty straight forward job... some wires/hoses need extending but it should fit right on.

take a look here, although google translate failed in this case miserably but you'll find pics showing the process;

Never missed an episode of Blue Peter ;).... ;D

Some really interesting stuff on the scorpio.pl site, you need to think a bit about the google translations but looks like a lot going on in Poland.

Hey

im still about ;), just not been posting for a bit, had no need as the car is off road atm

in short yes the 2.0 inlet and be run on the 2.3 (just for info, the head and exhaust manifold will fit a 2.3 aswell) however you'll need more then just the manifold. The problems you will face is that 1. the injector loom will need to be made longer 2. there isnt enough vacuum connections in the 2.0 body 3. you'll need all the 2.0 throttle body, idle control valve, tps, and air ducting as the 2.0 uses 2x60mm butterflys, 4. there's 2 vacuum connections on the bottom of the 2.0 inlet, the hoses off the 2.3 will fit but not very well, so some glue or small jubile clips will be needed
