Title: a weird question Post by Ewing1 on Jun 2nd, 2009, 10:28pm Hi all. Iīm new here so let me start by saying that itīs great to be here. I love the site- and the car:) I own a beautiful scorpio estate 2,0 dohc- silver from 96. I know I shouldīnt but I canīt help thinking that itīs not a real scorpio unless I have the tailgate of the sedan. The back of the estate version looks very oldfashioned to me- not like the rest of the car which still has a very up to date- design in my mind. can anyone help me with advice on how to fit the sedan tailgate onto the estate model?? oh well.. hopefully Iīve made a weird impression already:) best regards Stellan |

It's a good point though, why did Ford not spend a little more time redesigning the tail gate so it looked less like the Granada ?.......maybe they could have had the same rear light strip as the saloon running along the bottom of the boot lid :-/ No doubt someone will be busy on Photoshop tomorrow & a piccie will soon appear ;)....... :) |

Title: Re: a weird question Post by Highlander on Jun 6th, 2009, 5:36pm You've got squinty eyes ;) The sierra tailgate is different, it doesnt fit (tried it) :) The granada one appears to be the same panel as far as i can see, Shaun's done some fancy stuff with his estate rear, might be worth a look? |
