Does anyone know if the calipers from a 24v Scorpio will fit on to Sierra hubs?

Pretty sure it can be done.
Try seaching the forums on sites like http://fordsierraclub.co.uk/forum/index.php
PassionFord, PoweredByFord & XR Owners Club sites also worth a look.

Seem to recall reading about someone doing this quite recently but can't recall exactly where.

According to the online catalogue on http://www.brakeparts.co.uk/ the Scorpio 24v and Sierra 4x4 Cosworth use the same calipers

Thanks for your advice,

I should explain a little more though, I am building a Kit Car using a Scorpio Ultima 24V Cosworth as a donor. The front hubs and carrier wont fit the Kit Car and I need to replace them with ones from a Sierra. What I am wondering is will the calipers off of the Scorpio fit on a Sierra hub or will I need to downsize to a Sierra item.

They'll fit on a Sierra 4x4 Cosworth hub :-)

But then, you'll probably find the 4x4 Sierra Cossie hubs can't be used on the kit car either - at least that's what I found when I was building my Westfield.

Yeh the 4X4 don't fit.

Are the Scorpio hubs and carriers the same on the 24V as they are on the rest of the range?

I'm almost positive they are all the same Colin, will go have a look though, pretty sure its just the calipers that differ
