Hi went along to my local scrappy trying to source some centre caps and noticed they had a 24V Saloon I asked him about the history his reply was that the engine and g/box are true and in good working order with a recorded mileage of 100.000 the price he advised was G/Box £125 Engine £375, no good to me mine is a 2.3 but I thought I would let you guys know I assume he would give some warranty with this, if not I would not go anywhere near it but if anyone is after these parts then it may be worth making more enquiries

£500 for an engine & gearbox sounds a little on the pricey side :-/ Especially when you consider you can buy a whole car for that ( ask Highlander) ;D ;D ;D

Its worth it just to stop the sierra boys nicking it :P
