Has anyone tried this oil "Mobil SYNT S 5w-40" its one of the ones recommended by www.opieoils.co.uk in there service packs an was wondering what it was like before I buy it.

by the way www.opieoils.co.uk are really good on prices and you get discount 10% off in yer a forum or club member on there list. ie £4.14 inc vat for oil filter for my 24v

I once went to B&Q and they were having an end of year sale. On the shelf were 18 x 4 litre tubs of Magnatec which at the time was about £28.00 for 4 litres and they were selling for £14.00!!

I took a few tubs and went to the check out; when the girl scanned the tubs they came up at £4.00 each...... That afternoon, I had 18 tubs of Magnatec in my garage!!!

I still use it in my Corsair.......

i use the mobil 0w 40 stuff

And I 5W30. It so happens around here the Ford Formula E/F "original" oil is also one of the cheapest and also available in 5 liter bottles.

I went for this: service pack is for a FORD Scorpio 2.9i V6 24V 1994-98 and contains:
6 litres of Mobil SYNT S 5w-40 and an UFI oil filter ref 23.127.02 cost £46.87
give it a go see what it is like ;)
