This seesm to crop up now and again and thought I would psot the solution that worked for me.

Having tried all the ones so far mentioned, car taken to auto electrician and as per previous post found drain from fuse 17, Simmo provide info on what that fuse covered so it was a process of elemination. Finall only item left was the timer delay unit. It seemed ok as it appeared to do its job. Anyway out it came and in went replacement and so far left car for a week no running and today it fired up 100% power, so I think that was MY problem, just one more to add to the list.

Glad you appear to be sorted and thanks for the update. That's how the knowledge base keeps building. ;)
