Regarding the radio display....remove the radio & then remove the fascia (careful when pulling out the connections). Then remove everything inside the fascia panel until you can get to the LCD screen, then try cleaning the ribbon cable connections with a cotton bud & alcohol.

If this doesn't work then remove the LCD screen & put it in a freezer bag (so it's sealed) & then put it in the freezer for a few hours (or overnight).
When suitable chilled, put the radio back together, put it back in car, & voila, it should be fixed  :D.....This worked for me about a year ago when I completely lost the display & I haven't had any problem since  ;)

That's what mine did....started disappearing & coming back for no reason, until one day it disappeared & never came back.........until I did the freezer thing  ;)

Regarding the wiper problem....it may just need a new switch  :)

The wipers have been ok today too when it was raining, perhaps lack of use had confused them a little :-/

Seems like I have got things mixed up.  It's the first time I have done a quote job.  I went looking  for the relevant "fix" found it and posted it only to find that Johnnycab has already posted the solution as above.  :-[ Ooops!!
