Hi,

As you may know i've been trying to find out why my car has little turbo surge so i bought a new MAP sensor as suggested on this site, only thing is I went to fit it this afternoon and its not there!!

Where the sensor is on the sites pictures there is thin air and not even wiring to match. The other bit next to it also looks like it's got the hoses coming in differently but the sites pics are not too clear.

So does anyone know where my MAP could be and have any pics of that area of their car they could put up so i could check my plumbing!!

Thanks, that's great but my cars a diesel and i think that's for Petrol mines here:

That's really interesting, my car has all there except the MAP sensor and the electric feed and vacuum hose for it. Any suggestions?

Does anyone know which hose number should go into no 18 (the MAP)?

Hi,

So after much interrogation it would appear that my car is not alone in having no MAP! I looked at Legion's breaker and it too has no MAP in the place suggested above and we couldn't find one anywhere else either! I guess both our car's are reasonably early and so maybe things changed later.....

Have a look on the bulkhead in the engine compartment.

I don't know where it lives on the Diesel ??? but this is where mine is located. Just a suggestion :-/
