hi there im trying to find out which tie rods i need for my steering rack, i have beed to partco and they say there are two types of rack fitted to the cossie i need to know which one i have got mine is a preg. dave

Hi Dave,

Not heard that before, as far as i know there are only two rack types, the speed sensitive one for the 24v and the other one for all all the rest.

The two are interchangeable and look identical.

Partco maybe looking at the Granada 24v too?

I got a recon rack for my XR4x4 from them delivered the next day and they had the old one collected.

got it all sorted for £43 2x tie rods and 1 set of gaiters,cheers for the input never fail as usual.dave
