whats the right price for spark plugs these days guys for 97 cossie? been quoted £29.75 for 6 ngk plat plugs. doesnt sound too bad to me!!! ???

Thats very cheap indeed. One thing to check is that they are not for the earlier 'BOA' engine as fitted to the Granada Scorpio Cosworth's. I have done that before & the E-Bay seller would not except returns :-/. The cheapest i have paid is £46 for a set of NGK's ::)

Found the receipt for the ones I bought in my mailbox. These are compatible by the charts and were indeed cheap:
They were champion and the correct spec (triple checked).

There are errors in this list, particularly in the 24V section. Some of them are copper tip (the champion one at least). The Champion RC8PYP is the correct.

thanks guys. they are ngk-pfr6b-11 4014 plat plugs .according to ngk website they are the babys!

Has anyone tried NGK Iridium plugs BKR6EIX-11 for the 24v?
They seem to be about the same price as Platinum PFR6B-11

Will be trying out the iridium plugs next time a service is due. about April time. ( give me time to save up for them )...... :)

Yes,
Jonnycab and I have tried the Iridium ones.
Jonnycab put me onto them in the first place.
I have them in all my Cossies now and I believe Jonnycab has them still in his 2.3.
I find them superior to any others I have fittted. ;)
