I have joined Photobucket, and put a few pics in an album of Scorpio and Zodiac. It isn't very clear in Photobucket, (well to an idiot like me) how I get the pics onto here in a post. I only have a couple of pics up, and they are all under 640 x 480 pixels. I wonder if anyone would be kind enough to run me through how to post them up here in a post.

Also, I have tried to upload an image from photobucket onto my profile picture, this image is only 150 x 200 pixels. I have put the link into the "I have my own pic" bit and ticked the box but to no avail!! Can anyone help on this too?

I have changed it so you can see how its done .. Just replace the avatar that I used with the location of your own .. Any more problems send me the link to your avatar and I will do it for you ...

Hmmmmmmmmm, you're a star Snoopy, but I tried and it didn't work! I copied the url into where you said, and it just went blank, and I really don't know whether to click on the change button of the profile page or not? Never mind, I'm just being a pain in the boobs! I just wanted to share a couple of pics of my cars. Thanks anyway.

PJ.....If you want to post stuff from Photobucket to this site, then copy & paste the forth option on Photobucket (IMG code) & it should work.

640x480 will be this size....

For putting a pic on your profile from Photobucket, then copy & paste the 2nd option (Direct Link) to your profile. If this doesn't work, then the pic may be too large. So use Photobucket editing functions to reduce the size etc.
For example.......my current Santa avatar is 14kb - 86x100, & my usual pressure gauge avatar is 18kb - 64x64.

Hope this helps :)

P.S...sorry about the pic of my MK1 Granada......it was the only 640x480 pic I could find......honest ;D

You guys are terrific. Thanks to Snoopy I've got my 'cludgy' avatar up, and a couple pics. The first one of the Zodiac was taken this year at the house in Malta, I think at Easter-Time because I can actually touch the car without burning my arm! The Zodi' is a '69, and the paint is very tired, but there is no rust, it uses a lot of fuel, about 22mpg and the price of fuel is equivelant to about £1.25 per litre. Unfortunately in common with most of the older cars in Malta, there will come a time in the not too distant future when the government will restrict the use of old cars in some way as part of joining Europe. There is an action group trying to stop them from carrying out this legislation.

The second pic is of Scorpio and the wifes wee Puddle-Jumper, taken just after I got the Scorpio about March this year. I'm really pleased with the car, especially now it's just passed the MOT.

Jonny, I love the Mk1 Granada. Fabulous motor and I always fancied either an import two-door, or a coupe. I think the two door saloon only came in Consul guise.

This is my favourite owned car, pic taken at the last house about 1980. It's 6/110 Wolseley Ex Police car, a great touring car that took me around Europe two years running. Sold it to a local chap that fully restored it, don't know where it is now.

And Finally, for the time being, a pic of my Father-in-Laws restored Fergie 135. He wanted it restored for it's 40th birthday, he's 84 years old and still does a wee bit of farm work using this 135, and a more modern 4x4 Fergie. We did all the work except the painting.
