Title: WHAT PART DO I NEED? Post by rayblack on Jan 3rd, 2010, 9:58pm Hi guys! My scorp started making a scweeky sound from both of my rear back wheels. I thought is just was a brakepad, but after some time the rear end of the car started to shake and wamble back and forth while driving i high speeds. I discoverd when i was changing tyers that the brakediscs and everything else connected to it was loose and wabled! My idea is that the wheelbearings are extreemly worn out, am I right? In that case is this the parts I need? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-Scorpio-97-REAR-WHEEL-BEARING_W0QQitemZ170383899649QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item27ababfc01 Thanks for help guys, sorry for my english |

Title: Re: WHAT PART DO I NEED? Post by gozz on Jan 3rd, 2010, 11:59pm There are actually a pair of bearings in the rear hub, back to back taper rollers, the kit also includes two seals and a nut.The advert is of the correct year and should be correct, pass him your details, though I suppose if the car is not UK registered, this may not apply. The pictures shown are not really relevant. These kits are commonly available here from motor factors for about £30.00.As Simmo says it is almost certain that your hub will be worn, these are about £100 from Ford dealers. GOZZ. |
