Got a new tank and thermostat from FORD, now no interior heating, any ideas anyone, i had some heating till i topped up the coolant, buy the way where is that drain plug on the radiator, for the life of me i can't see it, so took of the bottom hose, it's a 1997 scorpio ghia, any help much appreciated.

Sounds like an air lock. If you look at the 'locked topics' at the top of the Give Advice page there is the 'Jonnycab' method for removing air from the system. IIRC some rads do not have a drain plug and the only way to drain them is to do as you did.  :)

The rad drain plug is on the bottom left corner of the rad  :)
