Is the 2.9 12V sump ali or steel?

If it's steel does anyone have one?

It's steel,has yours rusted through ? its not uncommon,I've welded a couple up on the funeral cars,bit of a game removing it.There is one here on a spares car,don't know it's condition and the engine is still in the car with no wheels !!
Best to ask round the scrappies about scrap engines out of the cars.

It's to go on a 12V going into a lotus 7 replica. www.saturnsportscars.co.uk

It will have the lower pan cut off anyway so a slightly damaged one is not a problem.

I have 4x4 ones, 24V alloy ones , a steel one but I don't want to chop it about as it's for a turbo technics engine..

So if you have one with a damaged bowl that would be ideal???

From What I remember its the same as the older Granada 2.9 So there should be lots around......
