is there any precautions compared to other cars in how to wash scorpio as not to wet electrics eg fuse box in offside, as water runs down windscreen and on to box

Do you have a battery cover fitted? It also pays off to clear out all drain holes under the hood.

got battery cover, washed car with engine running and put towels at bottom of windscreen

you can wash it as normal so long as the battery cover is in place and the fuse box lid is fastened correctly

i do however face mine down hill when washing it
