There isn't a factory fitted one in mine, I have a mobile one that I take to the shops every Saturday.

Like, Execs don't have 'em although there's still the panel for it in the dashboard

Interesting, i've checked the german picelist from 1997 1/4 and both airbags were standard in every version.

They made them standard for the facelift I believe, they were throwing all sorts of extras in by that time trying to sell them.

1997 1/4 was (in germany) some time before the facelift. For the facelift they added the sidebags..

And as i remeber all scorpios (even back when you've called them granadas ) from 93 or so were sold with both airbags as standard in Germany. In the very early time after introducing the Airbag in the 1992 model the passanger airbag was an option here.

I'm eager to see a scorpio 94+ pricelist in UK, they seem to differ a bit.

For example the lights in the doors and the sunshields were discontinued in 1996, is this also true for UK?

According to my 9/5/95 price update, the passanger side airbag was an option on all models.

quick way to tell how many air bags you have it so look at the vin plate in the windscreen, it will have the air bag pic then a x 1 or 2 or 4 so long as you have the original dash and a windscreen that has the window in the black part you cant miss it ;D
