how much of a gap between wheel and top of wheel arch should there be on the rear wheels? 2.9 Scorpio, sits a bit high at front due to new springs, but only can get about 2 fingers width at rear.

Around 66-67 cm measured from ground to centre of arch I guess is considered good. It was 63cm with saggy springs and non-levelling saloon shocks (225/50R16, not loaded).
