How long is the water pump belt for a 98 cossie. I have tried a 1365 mm, but thats to small. They have a 1388, but it looks longer than the one that came off, or they can get a 1370, but i think that will be to short as well.

Hi,

Longer belt is 1380mm 6PK, shorter belt 1010mm 4PK according to Ford. 1388 should be fine, tensioner will pick up the slack. Some factors would want to sell a 1410mm also for 24V (actually for 12V and MK3 24V), but that's wrong.
