Whats the best oil to use ... would it be semi synthetic or fully synthetic... Last year when i changed my oil, i put semi synthetic oil in.... 24V.. What would you all recomend.....

I use full sync 10W60 all the time on my Cossie

I have a 2.3 Ultima, and use Ford oil. It's a semi synth. I've been an Engineer all my days, started on the railways. I believe it's not so much the type of oil one uses, obviously one should change it regularly and use the right grade, but it's more important to make sure the oil is flowing everywhere and changed regularly.

I have just changed to 10-60 full synth , it has cut the startup rattle a bit. I now rev to 2000 rpm after starting and when I switch off to get the chains tensioned, seems to work.
