Has anyone any suggestions.

Both my remotes have now stopped working. I've tried new batteries, cleaning contacts, painting the rubber pads with electic paint, and sticking on tin foil. Still no luck.

(I've used an eraser and the chemical cleaner to no avail).

I know I've been reprogramming them the right way as I have done it so many times over the years.

In desperation I even got the original red key out and tried with that.

Any other suggestions Please?

Are the batteries CR 2016 / 3V..........

Unusual for two remotes to fail simultaneously. Could it be the receiver in the car isn't working? Or just not receiving
