Title: Re: Fitting Leather upholstery Post by adam on Jul 29th, 2010, 9:21pm I am very jealous :'( I have a full leather set, facelift bumper in black and grille and lights spare ready to fit as well. Oh, well you win some you loose some ::) Looks like a straight car but only in the flesh can you really tell. My gut feeling is that it is A1. Did you have to pay the buy it now price or did you haggle? Hope you enjoy your new toy ;D |

Title: Re: Fitting Leather upholstery Post by bonnietiler on Jul 29th, 2010, 9:39pm I paid what they asked and got a discount on the delivery, which from Cornwall to Manchester is quite a bit of fuel...I think I got dazzled by the low miles, it's not fully loaded though....No headlight washers/passenger seat adjustment/headlight alignment motors etc. But that's only the sort of stuff that you play with once then never again, well I do anyway, as long as the car looks like they have described I shall be well chuffed....But it will have to have full leather! Title: Re: Fitting Leather upholstery Post by adam on Jul 29th, 2010, 10:32pm Yes Brian, i did notice the spec was somewhat on the lower end of the spectrum. However, i think the 25k will more than make up for it ;) I may just come and say hello, as i too live in Manchester. Hope it is as good as the description and the pictures. Adam |

Title: Re: Fitting Leather upholstery Post by Matt on Jul 30th, 2010, 9:55am the leather swap is fairly easy, the bolster can be the awkward bit believe it or not, other then that if your can has manual seats and the leather is electric then you wont have the loom to power them |

Title: Re: Fitting Leather upholstery Post by Mike H on Jul 30th, 2010, 3:20pm Bit unusual? Ultima with cloth seats? |

Title: Re: Fitting Leather upholstery Post by Snoopy on Jul 30th, 2010, 4:29pm It was a no cost option to have leather.... Most of the 12v had cloth and also the lower spec cars.. Not Everyone liked(s) leather. |

Title: Re: Fitting Leather upholstery Post by leuzi on Aug 4th, 2010, 4:36am I did the swap from velours to leather seats 2 weeks ago on my own. Takes about 3 hours to do it alone. It sure helps to have a second person for the rear seat. |
