Hi Folks.

The 2.3 Ultima has passed the mot, but the very nice man at the examination centre informed me that although she is in very good nick that both sills are bubbling? and will require attention in future.

Does this mean they are rotten or just starting to go. Also can replacement sills be sourced for the 1997 Scorpio?

I beleive that the Granada MK3 sills are the same as the Scorpio, I'm sure someone will say yes or no to that, also there is someone else getting some aftermaket sills here (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=OT;action=display;num=1281203432)

"Bubbling"? Maybe wire brush off and paint?

As Tony suggests sills and wheel arches are available but from the earlier model and will fit with minor adaption. Mine were done by a friend of Gozz's and are perfect. If the rust is below the front door(s) that is a common place and often shows initially as a circular patch.
