how long do you have to leave the battery disconected fore the ptcm to forget its real time setings and go to standerd.then how long -far do you have todrive to return to realtime

About 20-30 minutes for the PCM to forget & go back to factory settings. As for re-learning it's parameters....mine usually seems to be behaving fine again after just a couple of miles  :)
