Title: 2.3 manual and megasquirt Post by c20spit on Oct 11th, 2010, 5:20pm i got my lines mixed up when ordering the megasquirt for a 2.3 manual, i guessed it used edis like the auto, i have now found out that it doesn't. do people think it will be easier/cheaper/quicker to get an edis system or just send back the megasquirt box and have it changed so that the spark is done by the ecu, ( i'm waiting to hear back from the guy about cost and time). time is one of the most important things as i'd like to crack on with it whilst there is still daylight after work and its above freezing, thanks |

Title: Re: 2.3 manual and megasquirt Post by martin_rowe on Oct 12th, 2010, 9:02am Personaly I would use EDIS, check out Triggerwheels site. EDIS will give a 'limp home' setting and will give better control over your ignition, even with a weak signal. |
