Think the max for anything pre-March 2001 is £215 at the moment ???

If you're perturbed about the road-tax for this car, it can be but a piece of pearl-barley compared to a plate of porridge 'expense wise' if something major goes wrong and you don't have the knowledge or expertise to deal with it! I believe it will be about £225 per annum. That's what the 2.3 is, I think the year is what matters at that stage.

I have eight Scorpios of various types,they are currently £205 being pre 2000,the price rises in the budget by £5 annually.

The last one I did was on the 25th of Sep for Oct,it was £205.My partner has a little Fiat which she had new last Nov,the VEL was £35,now they want £30 ::)
Does the left hand know what the right hand's doing do you reckon. :(

Must be a plan, reckon they want all big cars off the road. Or, yo' can run a big car? Yo' must be rolling in it then ;D

Standard road tax rose from 180 to 210 because of the previous governments taxation proceedures.

According to THIS (http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/OwningAVehicle/HowToTaxYourVehicle/DG_10012524) it is £205. But as Gozz said.............??
