Title: Re: pipe help needed? Post by Matt on Oct 21st, 2010, 7:35pm It runs poorly because its a vacuum feed and its right under the idle control valve, from memory and im going back a long time, threes some gubbins one on the inner wings with vacuum pipes going to and from it, i think there should be a connection from that to that |

Title: Re: pipe help needed? Post by Tompion on Oct 21st, 2010, 8:09pm It goes to the item in the second drawing on this page: http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/evapmonitor.htm As Matt says it's on the wing - near to the inlet manifold. Mine’s a corrugated pipe with a right angle rubber boot at the manifold end. |

Title: Re: pipe help needed? Post by gozz on Oct 21st, 2010, 9:21pm 2nd gear. There should be a rubber elbow pushed onto that stub pipe, then a plastic tube to the evap valve as said, down low on the O/S inner wing. GOZZ. |
