Title: Autobox downchange.
Post by ThomasB on Oct 23rd, 2010, 3:52pm
Hi.

I have a question about a autobox on my scorpio 2,9 12v 92´.

What is it that tells the gearbox to change down if it´s not the kickdown switch? Lets say i drive 70mph press the throttle "not fully" and the box changes down, what tells it to do that, and where is it placed?

Thx Thomas.

Is it a Granada ? is the vacuum pipe that runs down to the transmission behind the offside of the engine all secure and connected at both ends ?
