While having the rear hub sorted, the garage commented on how noisy (rattle) the aircon fan was, is this bearing going? which I assume will need a new compressor, the noise does go away after start warm up.

hi there

the system has two fans. the engine cooling fans and the ones in the dash.

none of these has anything to do with the compressor.

best to find out which component they're on about.

It seems to be the cooling fans BUT of course when i started it it was ok, going to check it in the morning when it is settled.
