Title: Advice: Estate rear shock absorbers

You can fit Mercedes Benz W123 sedan rear shock absorbers (112£/pair) to Scorpio Estate with original springs.

Finnish guy just confirmed that because he had to get Scorpio through MOT by replacing broken rear shocks (original 1045£/pair)

With me being unfamiliar with the German language I am wondering if it relates to the old MKIII Granada Scorpio which as we know was called just the Scorpio in Europe.
The reason I ask is that the picture on the website is of the old MKIII Granada.

It looks like the Mercedes one would fit the Scorpio depending on dimensions and if Tekno can confirm the guy fitted it to a Scorpio 95- estate it looks like a cheaper solution has been found ;D

I dont think the Merc ones are self levelling BUT an MOT is an MOT  ;D

"w123 shocks were bolt-on and car does sit in correct height with original rear springs (does not come "lowrider" etc), altought stiffer springs would be better, but stock springs are not a problem"

He didn't remember if shocks were from sedan or wagon W123, but I guess sedan, because afaik wagon usually has gas pressure auto leveling so it's very different.

If you search internet or catalogs for W123 rear shocks, they indeed look similar to scorpio estate rear shocks.
