heater fan runs when switched off can't program HBC. Fan stops if WHITE/BLUE & BROWN/BLUE connector removed. Is it the switch?

Check the ribbon cable behind the control panel is latched properly, it can cause this problem.

Thanks Tompion.
Checked ribbon connector today, clips seem secure on connector, did notice a slight indent in the ribbon on right hand side.
