Title: chassis differences, Post by ro284 on Dec 5th, 2010, 5:20pm i have 3 estates, one 2-3 + one 2-9 one 24v, the 24v is waiting for work for m.o.t, the 2-3 a new head, but there are some differences to the feel of driving them all, the 2-3 is a ghia, no sun roof etc. but this gives a much softest ride, is there a difference between these models, apart from the 15 inch wheels on the 2-3, i'm wondering if the suspension is different, (spring rates etc.) and also the brakes, the best brakes are on the 2-9 but that could be down to pads, the steering on the 24v is incredibly light, is that normal? just out of interest really guys, cheers Bob |

Title: Re: chassis differences, Post by amigafan2003 on Dec 6th, 2010, 8:39pm 24v also has bigger brakes (discs) although this doesn't necessarily mean they'll feel sharper - that's mainly due to pad compound. |
