I have a 2.3 which is gas converted. I know the zetec engines dont't take kindly to gas(soft valve seats)
But isn't the 2.3 a bored out 2.0 mondeo engine ....even though it hasn't got zetec on the camshaft cover?

Dunno,I've got two gas 2.3s,they are no problem,gas man does not advise of any imminent or future failings on these engines.

2.3's are totally unrelated to Zetecs - the 2.3s are from the I4 family.

You'll be fine on gas.
