Is the control module under the glove box the same for Auto and Manual gearboxes? Can they be swapped?

No don't think so! If you think about it logically the Auto CCM uses ALL the data from the gear box to decide when to change gear. That data is not there from the manual car. The only definitive way to check is to try one from a manual car or vice versa!

Cheers Snoopy, I've got an auto that was crashed before Xmas and a manual I bought as a replacement. I'm in the processing of swapping the best bits from the Auto to the Manual and wondered about the CCM.
